Near our accommodation, you will find the entrances to the four most beautiful valleys of the Western Tatras. These dales are a great starting point for a hike to the higher parts of the Tatra Mountains.
Kościeliska Valley - 4 km from the property
The most beautiful dale of the Western Tatras, roughly 8 km long. Here, you will find a number of caves and scarps to explore. On Hala Ornak (1100 m) you will find a hostel. Some of the most interesting places in the dale consist of:
Ice Source, Mroźna Cave (open to the public), Hala Pisana, Wąwóz Kraków, Mylna Cave, Raptawicka Cave, Smreczyński Pond, Kominiarski Wierch (1829 m above sea level), Iwaniacka Pass, Ciemniak.
Kościeliska Valley is one of the most popular ones. Trips through the dale to the hostel, Iwaniacka Pass, Smreczyński Pond, Ciemniak (2096 m asl) Kraków Gorge, Mylna Cave (one of the longest caves in the Tatras, about: 1300 m corridors), Mroźna Cave (500 m corridors). The highest peak is Błyszcz (2159 m).
Chochołowska Valley – located 6.6 km away from the property
It is the largest dale found in the Polish Western Tatras, it is full of charm. At an altitude of 1150 m above sea level, you will find a hostel. In its upper part, it is divided into two separate dales, the Starorobociańska valley and the Chochołowska Glade. A car park can be found in Polana Huciska, the hostel is a further hour from there. From Chochołowska Valley you can take a walk to Rakoń (1879 m asl), Wotowiec (2063 m asl), Grzesia (1653 m asl), Trzydniowiański Wierch (1758 m asl), and Jarząbczy Wierch (2137 m asl).
Small Meadow Valley – located 2.7 km away from the property
One of the most beautiful valleys in the Tatra Mountains. Starting at Gronik you can take a walk along the path among the spruce forests to the Wielka Małołącka Glade. You can continue your walk to Świstówka (1450 1570 m above sea level), Kondracka Pass (1725 m above sea level) and Kopka Kondracka (2005 m above sea level) as well as Giewont.
Strążyska Valley – located 5 km away from the property
A popular and beautiful valley. The hills of the dale are covered with dense forests, the characteristic feature is the dolomite needles of the Three Chimneys. The destination of the trip is Siklawa, a charming waterfall that falls down from the thresholds of 10 and 13 m high. Down the Strążyska Valley, you will find, among other trails, a track to Giewont.
